Flomatic 80E check valves NSF/ANSI certified

January 10, 2018  By Administrator

Flomatic Corporation has announced all of its 80E check valves sizes from a quarter-inch through four inches are now NSF/ANSI standard 61 certified for drinking water systems. This is in addition to NSF/ANSI 372 the low-lead standard as a weighted average of 0.25 per cent lead content by dry weight.

The company said in a press release that it received the certification and is in compliance with NSF/ANSI 61 – Drinking Water Standards, which is a set of North American standards that establishes stringent requirements for equipment that comes in contact with potable water.

The test uses different water pH levels to achieve the more challenging chemical certification. When selecting equipment it’s very important to make sure all valves meet NSF/ANSI-61 standards for potable water, Flomatic said in a press release. Flomatic Valves is a company committed to preserving and improving the environment while producing valve products that meet the most stringent safety and health standards.
